Paisley is full of unique little shops and Lox, Sox and Burrow is among the youngest. Already it has grown so popular that we are moving to a larger space.

Lox Sox and Burrow opened it's doors to the public in August 2006. We started out selling new clothing and new blankets, sheets and towels, but it soon became evident that the local market really wanted to buy used clothing as well. By November 2006, we opened the back room to accomodate a used clothing department. People have been extremely generous by donating clothing to the store. I, the owner, Sandra Blodgett have tried to return the favour by offering a $3.00 store credit with every garbage bag of clothes. Of course, I would prefer that all clothing arrives clean and ready to go - since that saves everybody time and money. Most used clothes are just $3.00 each or 5 for $10. Most people take me up on the $10 offer and that helps move the items and keep the stock fresh.  

REDUCE-REUSE-RECYCLE
In March 2008, a few refashioned items began trickling in and I hope to dedicate a greater amount of space to local artists in the new space in Aug 2008. Refashioning is all the new trend, given the "green nature" of it. It is a matter of taking good, preused fabric and recreating it into something more fashionable and up-to-date.
